Program Director – Anaconda / Missoula

Pay Rate: $35,000 - $55.000 DOE/DOQ

Schedule: Tue - Sat 11am - 7pm

AWARE’s Program Director provides overall program supervision of the assigned Developmental Disability Residential and Work Program for individuals with autism. Ensures all treatment services and interventions are provided in accordance with established levels of professional practice. Provides direct supervision to all assigned Residential Coordinators. Participates in the development of individual program design and monitoring, individual annualized and long term planning; develops, implements, and monitors appropriate habilitation/ clinical criteria need. Travel required


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Thorough knowledge of residential program administration is essential. Familiarity with pertinent treatment modalities for individuals with developmental delays and autism is required. Knowledge and experience with family involvement and dynamics is also required. Interpersonal skills and the ability to provide leadership to a diverse spectrum of professionals and para-professionals are significant. Strong knowledge of Behavior Management techniques is essential.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Master’s degree is preferred or an equivalency may be established with the combination of education, experience and/or certifications, experience with individuals who have developmental delays in addition to experience managing treatment facilities. Position will be filled with a person who is Board Certified in Applied Behavioral Analysis (BCBA) or be interested in obtaining the certification with AWARE’s financial assistance.
