PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:
AWARE, Inc.’s Residential Coordinators are responsible for providing supervision to assigned staff within a residential setting. This includes supervising and implementing residential treatment plans, providing direct communication between shifts to ensure consistency of programming, and evaluating employee performance, hiring staff, training staff, scheduling staff, and assisting in disciplinary recommendations.
Requires a broad knowledge in working with individuals with development disabilities, including a knowledge of procedures which promote greater independence, knowledge of therapeutic techniques, community resources, and knowledge of human resources policies and procedures and techniques to enhance employee performance.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a related field preferred. A minimum of two (2) years of employment related experience in a community based program for the developmentally disabled, education, or human services setting, in addition to direct supervision of staff. A Valid Montana Driver’s License and a clean motor vehicle record also required.
