LCPC / LCSW Therapist – CSCT – Billings

Pay Rate: $38,500 - $44,000/Year DOE/DOQ

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Description:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works primarily on site in a school setting (elementary, middle, or high school) with emotionally disturbed youth.  May also work with families in the home and with other agency professionals to meet the needs of youth and families.  Presents as a leader in developing and implementing the service plan and Individual Treatment Plan.  Assesses the clinical needs of youth and families and makes treatment recommendations.  Makes intervention suggestions to other members of the support team.  Performs as a member of the interdisciplinary team for the youth.  Will provide outpatient therapy, including individual, group, and family therapy to youth with SED.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
A thorough clinical understanding of youth who are emotionally challenged and who have learning differences.  An ability to assess youth and their families from a strengths perspective; a developed theoretical prospective.  A good ability to work with a variety of people.  Strong oral and written communication skills.

Education/Experience:
An advanced degree (MS, MA, PhD) in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field.  Requires one (1) year direct work experience.  Must be licensed or licensable as an LCSW, LCPC, or Psychologist, or any other such license as recognized and regulated in the State of Montana. Possible NHSC slot, continuing education credits, clinical supervision and other licensure assistance available.
