AWARE’s board consists of several talented professionals who volunteer their time, knowledge, skills, and expertise each month and throughout the year to keep us pointed in the right direction. They have excelled in their respective fields and are considered among the best in the state at what they do (Richard Saravalli, pictured right).
Simply put, they inspire us, and we hope they inspire you too. This is a series that features AWARE’s outstanding board members as they’ve committed to furthering our mission of helping people live independent lives.
This month, we feature Richard Saravalli, a board member who has served since 2020. Richard brings with him a wealth of knowledge in fundraising best practices as well as in-depth knowledge of the human services industry in Montana.
He cares deeply about the work we do and values the importance of building relationships with others. He knows we work better together, and he pushes us to look at forming lasting partnerships that present opportunities to drive home our mission.
Richard previously served as AWARE’s interim CEO. Prior to that, he served as the chief habilitation officer responsible for developmental disability residential services and as AWARE’s development director.
Richard, we thank you for pointing us toward hidden opportunities and serving on AWARE’s board of directors. Your leadership and commitment to helping people live independent lives are truly remarkable. Thank you for helping us become the organization we are today!
