Happy New Year!
One of the greatest joys of this season is the opportunity to say thank you and to wish you the very best for the New Year. As we start this new chapter, now is the perfect time to reflect on how you grew in 2022 and plan your goals for 2023. In the words of Albert Einstein, “Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”
As I reflect on the last year and all that we learned and accomplished as an organization, I am inspired. I am proud of AWARE, the people we serve and the people on our team for continuing to take on and stick with the hardest challenges. Take a look at a few of the success stories that happened in 2022 here. These stories and many others like them are what drive us to continue doing the work we do.
As we look to the future, we will take what we learned last year and build on it to ensure that we are able to continue helping people live independent lives.
There is no denying that mental and behavioral health needs of Montanans remain at an all-time high. I am proud that AWARE continues to overcome obstacles to serve children, adults and families across the state of Montana. I am hopeful that with your support and advocacy, our elected officials will do right by Montanans and adequately fund the behavioral health system of care during the upcoming legislative session. You can read more about how you can advocate later in this issue of INK.
With the new year comes a sense of renewal, the turning of a page, an opportunity to bring out the best in ourselves and move forward with positivity and purpose. Thank you for being a part of the AWARE team, whether you’ve been with us every step of the way or have just joined, we truly appreciate having you in our community. Together we help people live independent lives.
Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2023.
Sincerely,
Matt Bugni – CEO
